Towards the end of the 1980s, the activity of wine manufacturers and bottlers was consolidated and enlarged, as we decided to move towards the production of a quality product using grapes coming exclusively from our own vineyards, with a limited output. We went on to plant new vineyards with such varieties as Garnacha Tinta, Ull de Llebre, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Chardonnay improving our methods of cultivation of the old vineyards with new techniques aimed to obtain high quality produce.

Presently, the total surface area of the vineyards within the estate is currently 38 hectares, divided between 8 ha. of Cariñena Negra; 7 ha. of Garnacha Negra ; 2 ha. of  Ull de Llebre; 7 ha. of Cabernet Sauvignon; 5.5 ha. of Merlot; 4.5 ha. of Syrah; 3 ha. of Chardonnay; and 1 ha. of Garnacha Blanca, grown in mountainous areas, in dry sandy soil, and which produces a grape of great strength and power for the preparation of  "Garnatxa de l'Empordà", a natural sweet wine that is typical of the region. In the same zone 12 more hectares of vineyard are under cultivation, with Macabeu, Garnacha Negra and Merlot varieties, but with pride of place going to the 2.5 ha. of Muscat d'Alexandria.
